What if both could move forward together, guided by nature for better health?
Dr. Lalana Nuntakarn began with a question.
From my work in stem cell science, I observed how cells can rapidly change depending on what they are given.
This led me to ask what the food we consume every day does to the body at the cellular level. After more than a decade of research and refinement, I developed Maxgrainta as a new standard of true nutrition.
And when a patient who had lost her appetite for over two years softly said “delicious” again, I realized Maxgrainta had become more than just a product.
Transforming a homemade nut milk formulation into industrial scale production was far from simple.
Our foundation began with whole nuts, a choice that most factories are unable to accommodate, as it creates a significant bottleneck in mass production, both technically and economically.
In addition, Maxgrainta’s naturally rich, creamy texture, more akin to a nourishing soup than conventional milk, cannot flow through standard pipeline systems. This required the adoption of retort sterilization technology to ensure both product integrity and safety.
At the same time, feedback from consumers, particularly cancer patients, individuals with diabetes, and mothers of children sensitive to food additives, became a powerful driving force behind our next step.
We made a deliberate decision to develop a formulation that is 100% natural, entirely free from additives and unnecessary food ingredients. This advancement was achieved in collaboration with Mr. Frank Kwan Ying Lau, resulting in a production process that preserves the taste, texture, and nutritional integrity of homemade quality, now realized at an industrial scale.
Maxgrainta was born from this question. We believe the human body does not need complexity beyond nature, but rather nutrition that is complete and true, just as nature intended. Grounded in science, we choose not to strip away, not to overprocess, and not to add what is unnecessary. Instead, we preserve the integrity of whole nuts in their most natural form. This is not just a plant-based milk. It is a deliberate design of nutrition that delivers what the body truly needs. In the end, true health is not defined by what we add, but by what we choose to leave out.
I was trained as a scientist to endure intense pressure, much like a marine in the laboratory, facing countless failures. Yet within each failure, there is always a trace of an answer. Over time, I learned to connect cause and effect, to gradually understand problems, and to refine solutions step by step, until what once seemed impossible began to take shape. All of this unfolded under limited resources, shaping the discipline to use everything with intention and to bring out the highest possible potential. As I stepped into the world of business systems, these same principles remained at the core, not only to create better products, but to build something truly meaningful and sustainable. When facing business challenges, these experiences have evolved into an inner resilience. Together with the practice of Vipassana meditation, they allow me to move through every challenge with mindfulness, steadiness, and a sense of calm.
From the very first container of nut milk I sold to the creation of a distinctive brand, this journey has been shaped by the realities of building a business with limited resources as an SME.
I took on nearly every role myself, from executive leadership and research to marketing, administration, and even packaging, giving my fullest effort to every opportunity along the way.
Along this path, I was also fortunate to receive the trust and support of respected mentors and investors who chose to believe in the vision and grow the company together.
This represents the culmination of a scientist’s journey, where knowledge is applied to create meaningful value for society.
